Cathy's Story

Cathy is an artist blacksmith who creates unique, functional sculptures for the home and garden. She uses traditional blacksmithing techniques to shape steel into beautiful, organic forms inspired by nature. Her work is both elegant and durable, and each piece is a testament to the power and beauty of the natural world.​​​

Though Cathy has always had an affinity for metal form, it was not until later in life that she became its creator.  A resident of the Southern California desert, Cathy's journey to becoming an artisan blacksmith began unexpectedly while on a trip in Appalachia.  Over the past decade she has honed her craft by learning from traditional blacksmiths and experimental artisans from across the continental United States. Her work blends these diverse influences into captivating pieces, showcasing technical skill and artistic vision to create a unique presence in any setting.
